Fusion Vocalist Hamed Nikpay, with an ensemble of acclaimed world music performing & recording artists, sings Persian-Flamenco melodies from his new album "All Is Calm."

The album is an aesthetic fusion of Persian melodies with Flamenco beats written by Hamed, and has received much recognition and praise from enthusiasts of traditional and contemporary Persian music alike. Among those critics is Ari Siletz who writes "Asoudeh establishes Nikpay as the rare artist with both scholarly pedigree and musical originality." His song "The Fire Within" from this album was voted as the number one Persian song of 2008 for its innovation and originality.

The live concert will include songs from this album with an exciting and innovative orchestration, and will be a début of songs not yet recorded, and to be solely performed in the "All Is Calm on the Road" concert series throughout the tour. The concert will also feature solo & duet instrumental performances by Hamed, and ensemble.

Accompanying Hamed on this tour is a brilliant ensemble of some of the most distinguished musicians - Percussionist Greg Ellis, Flamenco Guitarist Daniel Fries, Multi Instrumentalist Dimitris Mahlis, and featuring Saxophonist, Farzin Farhadi.
