Everyday Arabic, Conversational Classes for Busy People 

Register Today To Learn Conversational Levantine or "Shami" Arabic with a native speaker using diverse audiovisual supplements including music and film. Levantine conversational Arabic classes run in 10-week sessions, 3 hours per session each week (total 30 hours).

Levantine 2—Intermediate: Class meets Wednesdays, 6:30-9:30 pm through May 2012

Note: Intermediate level students must have previous exposure to the Arabic language, preferably via a classical Arabic language course, where they learn the alphabet and the basic grammatical structure of the language. Small class size (15 students max) meets at the Levantine Cultural Center, 5998 W. Pico Blvd., one block east of Crescent Heights Blvd., Los Angeles CA 90035 (ample street parking).

Adult classes are ideal for those wishing to learn or improve upon the essentials of conversational Arabic spoken in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine/Israel. Some instruction on colloquial Arabic spoken in Egypt, Iraq and the Gulf will be included. Tuition competitively priced at just $300 per quarter.
