Necar ZadeganNecar Zadegan has been active with Levantine Cultural Center since 2007, most recently performing poetry in Persian and English with Tony Khalife and Sheila Ommi in "My Rumi Valentine" (February 2009). She has been working professionally as an actress since she was 16 here in the States and abroad. She attended UCSB on a performance scholarship and graduated with degrees in literature and writing. She has since been traveling the world on a theatrical tour with Workshop 79 thru 3 continents performing the Farsi language show "Az Mahvareh Bah Eshgh" and spent the last two years doing work for television on shows like "Nip/Tuck," "The Unit," "NCIS," "How I Met Your Mother," "The Shield," "Big Shots," "General Hospital" and "Lost." Recent films include the Adam Sandler flick "You Don't Mess With The Zohan" as well as the festival piece "The Touch" which was recently accepted in over 30 festivals worldwide. She was nominated in 2008 for an LA Weekly Award for her work in the Boston Court production of Gilgamesh and recently closed her one-Amazon-woman show at the Powerhouse Theater in Santa Monica. She is an American of Iranian heritage. She starred in the Center Theatre Group hit play at the Kirk Douglas Theatre,”Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo.”
Most recently Necar has become a supporting cast member in the Howard Gordon series, "24" with Keifer Sutherland.
