The mission of Orphan Whispers is to aid orphans in conflict and post-conflict societies by providing basic necessities, educational scholarships and leadership development in order to rebuild communities.

Be the change you want to see in the world. —Mahatma Gandhi

Orphan Whispers consists of a group of highly-experienced, like-minded individuals who share an enthusiasm for aiding orphans and developing leaders everywhere. We all feel called to work for rebuilding conflict and post-conflict communities by focusing on helping those most affected by war - orphans. We recognize that children are the future and thus need to be cultivated into future leaders who give back to their community and the world, thereby rebuilding a country living in a post-conflict era.

Orphan Whispers is one of a few grassroots efforts that also empowers children in western nations to help children in post-conflict societies. Thus, we help develop future leaders to "be the change" in the world. It is our hope that children throughout the world will answer the call in the above quote by Gandhi. It is then that we can begin to rebuild societies and transform peoples.

To that end, Orphan Whispers is supporting orphans in Iraq to work towards a greater good. We are tireless in our efforts to provide basic necessities like food, clothing and shelter. In addition, we help to develop and maintain community by providing educational scholarships and leadership development to orphans and other children. Our non-profit organization serves people of all races, creeds, and religions. We do not discriminate and support wherever support is needed throughout Iraq. Orphan Whispers plans to expand into other conflict and post-conflict societies as soon as possible.

Tax-deductible contributions can be made to Levantine Cultural Center (be sure to write Orphan Whispers in the memo line of your check), and send to 2163 National Avenue, Costa Mesa CA 92627. Info 714.267.0881. Visit www.orphanwhispers.org.
