The first Tunisian Film Festival in Hollywood...The dawn of democracy in Tunisia after years of dictatorship will be in full display with the arrival of filmmakers, artists and cultural ambassadors including up and coming young artists and actors, some for the first time here in Hollywood. This festival will embody the freedom and diversity of Tunisian cinema.
The Tunisian Film Festival gives voice to young and upcoming Tunisian actors, writers, film makers and artists of all specialties in an effort to reinforce freedom of speech through film and art in Tunisia, with special guests flying in from Tunisia. The Festival provides courageous filmmakers with a global platform, an international audience, and interaction with local members of the film industry. In an effort to build bridges, this festival aims to strengthen relations between the people of Tunisia and Americans.
