Saba Mohtasham (Development Associate) is an Iranian-American from Sacramento and is currently completing her undergraduate career at UCLA with a degree in International Development Studies (focusing on the Middle East and Latin America) and a minor in Spanish. Prior to joining the Levantine Cultural Center, Saba spent six months studying in Argentina and has written extensively for the Daily Bruin at UCLA. Saba's desire to learn more about the diverse cultures of the Middle East and North Africa and how she can help educate others in an effort to build a more tolerant society brought her to the LCC. She plans to combine her passions for journalism and international affairs as she pursues a career in development. Saba writes and helps edit the Levantine Review.
